The Atrium: Immerse yourself in the grandeur of artistic expression as you explore The Atrium. The central Atrium space within the museum is intricately carved from the dense cellular structure of forty-two tubes that compose the building’s silos. Accessed through the museum doors on the ground level, this grand space can host up to 200 guests and serves as the heart of the museum, seamlessly connecting what were once two distinct buildings. With a cathedral-like design, the Atrium rises to a height of 33m, skillfully carved out of the original silo bins, making it an architectural marvel. For more intimate gatherings, the atrium bowl offers seating for up to 30 guests.

Lounge and Events Space: The heart of the Ocular experience, the Lounge and Events Venue, seamlessly transitions from a chic daytime destination for fine dining and cocktails to a sophisticated evening space, hosting a myriad of events in an ambiance of refined hospitality. An awe-inspiring event venue, capable of hosting up to 200 guests for cocktail-style events and accommodating 180 guests for gala dinners. The venue features sleek black finishes, air conditioning, a fully licensed bar, and security services.

Rooftop Terrace: Elevate your experience with the Rooftop Terrace next to the Ocular Lounge and Events Space, where breathtaking views of Table Mountain and the Mother City unfold, providing an idyllic setting for al fresco moments.

Smoking Balcony: The Ocular Lounge and Events Space also has a designated smoking balcony, for those seeking a moment of tranquility with panoramic views.

Meeting Rooms: There are classroom spaces available in Zeitz MOCAA that serve as versatile studio spaces for art instruction, accommodating both wet and dry mediums, and are also suitable for meetings, seminars, and workshops. Classroom 1 has the flexibility to host between 30 and 60 individuals, whether actively engaged in creative work or seated at tables. Similarly, Classroom 2 can accommodate up to 50 seated participants or 30 individuals actively working at tables.
