This past season at the Zeitz MOCAA Ocular Lounge and Events Space was marked by a series of remarkable highlights. Zeitz MOCAA Gala Dinner | February 2025
The 2025 Zeitz MOCAA Gala was a dazzling celebration of contemporary African art, culture, and community. Held on Friday, 21 February, the annual fundraiser drew an esteemed audience of global patrons, artists, and cultural figures, all united in support of the museum’s mission. Guests were welcomed with a red carpet reception in the museum’s iconic Atrium, followed by an evening of thought-provoking installations, soulful live performances, and a refined dining experience at the Ocular Lounge.
Hosted by Jo-Ann Strauss and led by Executive Director Koyo Kouoh, the evening paid special tribute to artist Otobong Nkanga for her remarkable contribution to contemporary art. With performances by Thandiswa Mazwai and meaningful conversations on the future of African art, the Gala not only raised vital funds for the museum’s curatorial and educational programming but also affirmed Zeitz MOCAA’s role as a vital cultural institution on the global stage.

Client Appreciation Dinner | March 2025
We had the pleasure of hosting a sophisticated Client Appreciation Dinner for a leading financial institution at the Zeitz MOCAA’s Ocular Lounge — an evening dedicated to honouring valued relationships and celebrating shared success. Set against the striking backdrop of contemporary African art, the event featured refined décor by a|CREATE, seamless guest registration by Event Options, and warm hospitality from Bravado Staffing’s professional team of hostesses. Guests enjoyed a signature rum bar experience curated by Kinship Spirits and a captivating live performance by electric violinist Naomi Tagg. Technical and audiovisual excellence was delivered by Sense AV, while Marsh Media beautifully captured every memorable moment. It was a night of connection, gratitude, and celebration in one of Cape Town’s most iconic venues.
